Sarah Hyland has voted herself off the island.

On Wednesday, the former Modern Family star shared on her Instagram stories that, due to a scheduling conflict, she won't be returning as host of Love Island USA, having hosted the previous two seasons for Peacock.

"Well, just got a text," she wrote, winking at the lingo of the show. "I’m disappointed the news had to break this way but it is in fact true that I will not be returning to the island this summer."

Hyland added that the reason she can't return is due to an as yet unnamed conflict. "I have committed to an exciting project that will be announced soon that conflicts directly with the shooting dates for Love Island USA," she explained.

TMZ first reported the rumor that Hyland would not be returning, also speculating that Vanderpump Rules star and Dancing With the Stars finalist Ariana Madix will be taking over as host.
