My name is Akiko Fujisaki.
and I work for a large textiles company in Japan.
We manufacture a wide range of textiles
and we employ over 20,000 people
in six different countries.
Our annual sales are around $ 30 million.

Mr Chen is an accountant in the finance department.
JOHN:Oh,OK.One more question.
Does Mrs Wo still work for the company?
WOMAN:Oh,yes.
JOHN:She's a lawyer,right?

Unfortunately,I had forgotten his name.
Anyway,a secretary took me to his office,
but there was no one there.
I waited for a few minutes.
and then a man came in.
I introduced myself
and started into my sales pitch.
But then another man came in and said.
I am Mr Lu,head of production .

This graph shows our sales figures for the last five year.
As you can see,
sales have increased steadily over this period.
and last year was a very good year...
VISITOR:A rise of 20% in one year.
That's a very good.
How did you manage that?
Well,we negotiated a new agreement with our trading partners in Singapore,
and this has helped us to increase our sales in this market.
VISITOR:It certainly has.
A 20% increase in sales in one year.
That's a great achievement for a small company like yourselves.
So sales were good last year,
but what about overall profit.
MR NGUYEN:Well,they were good too.
Let me show you another graph.
Now,as you can see,
profits have also increased steadily over the last five years.
Yes.I see last year was a very good year again.
A rise of 15%.
Yes,this was because of the increase in sales in the Singapore market.
but also because of a 30% increase in production.

is one of the most useful things a business person can do.
Of course,it takes practice to give good presentation.
but there are some simple and obvious things
Above all,know what you are talking about.
that will always make a presentation better.
For example,
always speak clearly and confidently.
