[01:51.89]Teddy said he'd met this girl and was going to be married. [01:55.83]He explained that his father had died a couple of years ago [01:59.66]and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit in the place at the wedding [02:05.13]that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. [02:08.30]Of course, Mrs. Thompson did. [02:10.71]At the wedding, they hugged each other, [02:13.78]and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson’s ear, [02:17.27]“Thank you Mrs. Thompson for believing in me. [02:31.27]She said, “Teddy, you have it all wrong. [02:35.17]You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. [02:38.83]I didn't know how to teach until I met you.”
