In a November cover story for PEOPLE, the Goop founder reflected on how drastically motherhood has changed her life and career.

"Well, it's kind of ironic because I really stepped away from acting when Apple was born. The last time I was in every scene of a movie was when I was pregnant with her," she said.

She also explained why she thinks she's a lucky mom.
