A: Xu Zhimo is one of my favorite Chinese poets. His poems are full of romance.

B: I like his poems, too. And among his poems, Farewell Again to Cambridge is my all-time favorite.

A: I can memorize some verses of this poem: The golden willows by the riverside; are young brides in the setting sun. Their reflections on the shimmering waves; always linger in the depth of my heart.

B: The river that Xu Zhimo mentioned is River Cam, isn’t it?

A: Yes. River Cam is a lovely river that flows through the city and university of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire in eastern England.

B: As the river flows through Cambridge it drops through 3 levels, respectively known as Anthony the Top, Middle and Lower River.

A: The 1.5km stretch of the Middle River from Queens9 College to Magdalene College is known as the College Backs and it is one of the most beautiful stretches of river in England.
