As is depicted in the picture, reading books containing other people’s wisdom and knowledge helps us shape our thinking. It shows how valuable reading is. 1

It is widely acknowledged that books present the precious accumulation of wisdom and knowledge beyond the limitation of space and time, just as the old Chinese saying goes, “To open a book is always beneficial.” 2

First of all 3 , reading can enrich our mind and shape our thoughts. When we read, we are stimulated to use our brain to explore knowledge in the book.
