向来被视为流行指标的《欲望城市》，剧情里扮随著女主角心境起伏的，当然是走在时代尖端的流行音乐极品。身兼电影编剧及导演的Michael Patrick King，特别找来名制作人Salaam Remi (Nas, Amy Winehouse, the Fugees)来为慾女们的浪漫情事找到对味的歌曲，并打造出一张“爱情音乐的圣典”。Remi因此以「慾望城市」的经典主题旋律为基调，打造了全新主题曲'Labels or Love'，并邀来声势如日中天的冠军天后-菲姬(Fergie)来演唱，跟着身旁的女同伴们一起看着影集长大的菲姬，十分兴奋地表示能跟自己喜爱的女星们，一起为求爱的女性发声而深感光荣!
