1. as作连词引导方式状语从句，表示“依照，按照，像，正如”

Do it as I do.

照我做的做。

I did as you told me, and I put the book back.

我照你说的把书本放回了原处。

I have changed my mind as you suggested.

根据你的建议我改变了主意。

When at Rome do as the Romans do.

入乡随俗。

As we all know, China is in Asia.

正如我们都知道的那样，中国在亚洲。

I am, as you can imagine, poor.

正如你能想像的那样，我很穷。

He came late as expected.

和预料的一样他来晚了。

She came to visit us as she had promised.

2. as作连词引导让步状语从句，表示“尽管，虽然”。

Young as he is , he knows a lot.

尽管他很年轻，他知道得却很多。

3. as引导让步状语从句常用倒装句，将表语、状语、谓语提前。

1）形容词/副词+as+主语+连系动词be/实意动词。

Tired as he was , he went on with his work.

尽管累，他继续工作。

Much as I admire him as a leader, I don't like him as a man.

尽管作为领导，我很崇敬他，我却不喜欢他那个人。

2）名词+as+主语+连系动词be。

Much money though he has got , he doesn't feel happy.

尽管有很多钱，但他却不觉得幸福。

3）当表语是名词前置时，省略冠词；但是当名词前有形容词修饰时，冠词不能省略。

Child as he is , he knows a lot.

尽管是个孩子，他知道得很多。

Little child as he is, he is very brave.

尽管是个小孩子，他却很勇敢。

4）实意动词+as+主语+助动词 （如果没有助动词，则要加上一个do/does/did）。

Try as you may, you won't succeed.

尽管你可以尝试，你不会成功的。

Change your mind as you will , you will gain no additional support.

你可以改变主意，但你不会得到额外的支持的。
