① share表示“和……共有，分享”，后接被分享的事物，然后接with和人：share sth. with sb.。share不可接双宾语。

我的朋友把他的词典与我共同使用。

My friend shared me his dictionary.

My friend shared his dictionary with me.

② divide意为“分成，分为”，常指把整体分为几个部分，常用结构为divide…into。

The teacher divided the students into three groups. 老师把学生分为三个组。

③ separate表示“分开，分离”，常用结构为separate…from。

The wall separates one room from the other. 这堵墙把这个房间同那个房间分开。
